We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Residency Program Director in Pharmacy to lead and manage our pharmacy residency training program. This role is essential in ensuring the development of future pharmacists through structured, high-quality postgraduate education. The Residency Program Director (RPD) will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and administration of the residency program, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, experience in teaching or mentoring, and a deep understanding of residency program requirements and standards. The RPD will serve as a role model for residents, faculty, and staff, promoting excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining the residency curriculum, recruiting and evaluating residents, coordinating with preceptors and other departments, and ensuring the program meets all accreditation requirements. The RPD will also be responsible for assessing program outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and representing the residency program within the institution and to external stakeholders.
This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to advancing the profession of pharmacy through education and mentorship. The RPD will work closely with the pharmacy leadership team, academic partners, and clinical staff to provide a comprehensive and enriching training experience for residents.
